Englewood, CO- The Denver Broncos have released three veteran players in order to clear cap space ahead of the start of NFL free agency. Tight end Owen Daniels, guard Louis Vasquez, and long-snapper Aaron Brewer were all cut Tuesday.
Daniels was released after just one season with the team. He started every game with Denver last season, recording 46 regular season receptions and three touchdown catches.
Daniels, 33, has spent all ten of his NFL seasons with Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak in both Houston and Baltimore.
