The Denver Broncos have signed free agent tight end Richard Gordon, waiving Mitchell Henry, the team announced today. Gordon is a five-year NFL veteran and has appeared in 34 games with five starts.
His last home was with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he finished last season with a +1.7 cumulative grade via Pro Football Focus. With only four career receptions, Gordon's forte is not catching the ball.
It's run blocking. Gordon's entire PFF grade from last season was run blocking. The Broncos are obviously looking to find ways to beef up their rushing attack.
