The quarterback race is officially over with Ryan Finley electing to transfer after he earns his degree.
Boise State quarter Ryan Finley plans to transfer from the Broncos program after he graduates in May, the school announced Tuesday morning.
Finley was the starter heading into 2015 season and played three games before breaking his ankle, but before the injury he completed 46 of 70 passes for 485 yards and a touchdown with four interceptions.
Then came true freshman Brett Rypien who had one of the best seasons in the Mountain West for a freshman as he was named first-team conference quarterback.
