Coach Hoke returns to San Diego for his home swan song performance. The Aztecs (3-8), (1-6 MWC) are matched up against the Fresno State Bulldogs (8-3, 4-3 MWC). While the Aztecs are on a four-game losing streak, the Bulldogs have struggled themselves, being dominated in their last two games against San Jose State and New Mexico. The Bulldogs have had serious lapses of consciousness in defending the run, having given up 200-yard rushers in back-to-back games and 658 total yards on the ground. This might play into the Aztec's hands as they are coming off of their best-rushing performance of the season against the Spartans.
