Fresno State (6-3) traveled to Tucson, Arizona, to take on the No. 13 Arizona Wildcats (8-1) The Bulldogs came into McKale Center looking to defeat a ranked opponent on the road for the first time, since defeating Tulsa in 2000. Arizona was in a dogfight the whole night, pulling away late in the second half to preserve the win.
The Bulldogs were not intimidated in one of the toughest venues in college basketball. The Wildcats entered the night with a 42 home winning streak, that turned to 43.
