Air Force received verbal commitments from a Georgia running back and a Utah linebacker over Labor Day weekend.
It was a great opening weekend for the Air Force Falcons football team. Not only did they easily win their season opener against the Morgan State Bears 63-7, they received verbal commits from two players over the weekend.
Sunday evening, senior running back Ashton Barnes from Lanier High School in Buford, Georgia announced that he is choosing to attend the Air Force Academy over the other two military institutes, Army and Navy, and Ivy League members Harvard, Yale and Cornell.
