Hawaii added a piece to its 2017 recruiting class by landing junior college quarterback Cole Brownholtz. He spent last season at Sierra College in Rocklin, California, and he will spent his sophomore year there as well.
He is a pro-style quarterback and offers from JUCO players are a bit difficult to track and the only other interest out there was from Boise State. The Broncos had interest but did not offer the California-native.
Boise State knows a thing or two about quarterbacks, and recruiting in general, so for the Broncos to have interest could mean that Hawaii is getting a good player.
