Game day is here for the Poinsettia Bowl as Wyoming takes on BYU down in a surprisingly rainy San Diego. This game kicks at 9:10 p.m. ET on ESPN and the Cougars are a 10.5-point favorite — yes, we are confused as well.
The keys to this game could be what running back players better: BYU’s Jamaal Williams or Wyoming’s Brian Hill. The Cougars rush defense is one of the best in the country but the Cougars will have to replicate their top-10 rushing defense without their leading tackler, Francis Bernard, who is not playing tonight.
BYU is starting Tanner Mangum at quarterback who is making his first start in a year for the injured Taysom Hill and he is in a new offense.
