2016 NIT Bracket: San Diego State gets a two seed, hosts IPFW

San Diego State earned a two seed and is taking on IPFW for their first round game.

San Diego State did not make it to the Big Dance, but they do get to continue playing in the post season in the NIT where they are a two seed and can host at least two games this week. The Aztecs host IPFW (who?!?!), their full name Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne.

The Aztecs and Mastodons tip off on Tuesday March 15 at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN3, so yeah, a streaming only game.

IPFW comes from the Summit League where they won the regular season with a 24-9 record but they fell in the conference tournament to North Dakota State.
