Freddy Holly appears to be the prize of the Hawaii 2016 recruiting class. The California native is rated as a three-star recruit by Rivals, Scout, 247Sports and ESPN. He is the only recruit in the 2016 class that has a three-star grade across the board between the four major databases.
While attending Norte Vista High School in Riverside, California, he earned first-team all-CIF Southern Section eastern honors the past three years. In his senior season, he was named to the Cal-Hi Sports All-State second team.
Holly is expected to come into to program and contribute immediately. However, he will have tough competition from returning starter Paul Harris and backup Diocemy St.
