The Rainbow Warriors inked a critical piece to their 2016 campaign. Netane Muti, who comes out of Leilehua High School, will give Hawaii flexibility on the line. In high school, he played at the tackle and guard positions on offense; as well as nose guard and defensive end on defense.
The 'Bows have recruited him to play on defense, as that is where is strength lies. Muti gained honors from ScoringLive and American Family Insurance on their all-state second team. He also earned first-team all-Oahu Interscholastic Association (OIA) red honors on defense and second-team honors on offense.
Muti did not play football until his sophomore year in high school, which leaves a lot untapped potential as he refines his skill set.
