San Diego State is hosting Air Force in the Mountain West title game and while there is no New Year's Six Bowl game on the line, but there is the first out right conference title on the line for both schools in a long time.
The Aztecs did share the 2012 title but they have not won a conference title all by themselves since the 1986 WAC title. The 1998 WAC title is the last conference title of any kind for the Falcons football team.
