He’d not really be a newcomer if it weren’t for the untimely pandemic interruption, but with only five appearances under his belt, I expect Joel Waterman still qualifies for such a label.
But like most of the sounds coming out from Centre Nutrilait this week, he’s upbeat and positive about the condition of the group as the Florida tournament looms.
“Feeling really good. There’s been some good weeks of training and lots of stuff we’re working on, on the pitch, for the tournament.
“We’re feeling good, and we’re ready to go!”
The former Cavalry man feels Montreal’s level is good despite some obvious growing pains experienced in getting back into training.
