CF Montréal announced on Monday that goalkeeper coach Rémy Vercoutre (40) is stepping down from his duties with the Club.
The former Montpellier, Lyonnais and Caen net-minder was the first-team goalkeeping coach since December 2018, and was part of the coaching staff as the Canadian Championship was won in 2019.
“After a good discussion with Rémy, I accepted his request to step down from his duties with the Club. Rémy will be able to explain later why he decided to leave,” said CF Montréal sporting director Olivier Renard.
“The entire Club thanks Rémy for his professionalism during his time with us and we wish him good success in the future.
