Some welcome news arrived for Impact fans this afternoon when it was announced that Romell Quioto has agreed to a two-year contract extension, with an option for 2023.
The Honduran international topped the team in goals scored and assists during the 2020 MLS regular season, tallying 8 and 6 respectively. He managed 19 appearances (17 starts).
Quioto’s goal tally was a personal best for him in MLS and he added a further two with goals in the play-off match against New England Revolution and in the CONCACAF Champions League against Deportivo Saprissa in Costa Rica back in February.
