It passed everyone by, but the Impact recorded their 100th MLS regular-session win in defeating Vancouver Whitecaps recently at BC Place.
The landmark was reached with the help of Samuel Piette’s first-ever goal for the club.
It was the 5th MLS win over Vancouver, one less than against Houston Dynamo, the club from the Western Conference they have defeated most times. Also from the West, San Jose and Seattle have been defeated five times.
Over in the East, New England Revolution are the Impact’s softest opponent, losing to the Montrealers 10 times.
