One-eyed Scott, Tops for United

After Manchester United’s impressive victory over Paris St Germain at the Parc des Princes, manager Ole-Gunnar Solskjaer revealed that midfielder, Scott McTominay had played throughout the first-half handicapped by the loss of a contact lens.

“Scott played the first half with only one eye. That was the most impressive thing, because he lost his contact lens.”

Marcus Rashford’s late goal sealed a deserved three points, which only came under threat when Anthony Martial headed into his own goal to level the scores. Otherwise United were largely in control, with significant contributions coming from the midfield anchor provided by McTominay and Fred.
