Newcomer, Omar Browne may have hogged most of the local love at the weekend, but after two clean-sheets in five days, Impact ‘keeper, Evan Bush was named MLS Player of the Week on Monday.
Naturally this gets him a starting place between the posts for Team of the Week (week #9), the second such accolade he’s earned this season.
Bush has now had 5 shut-outs in his last 6 matches, as he chases his own Impact record of 10, for the regular season, set only last year.
It’s also a second this season for Impact’s Remi Garde, who again is named MLS Coach of the Week for the sixth time overall since coming into MLS in March 2018, a quite remarkable achievement for the Frenchman.
