Montreal Impact loan Michael Salazar to Ottawa Fury FC

The Montreal Impact announced on Tuesday that they have loaned 2016 1st round draft pick, Michael Salazar to Ottawa Fury FC.

In the past two seasons, Salazar had played in 19 MLS games for the Montreal Impact and has scored two goals. Born in New York but plays for the Belize international team on a regular basis.

Salazar will not be available for action in the Canadian Championship in order to remain eligible to play for the Impact, but will be available for selection in Saturday's match against the Tampa Bay Rowdies at TD Place. Per the Right of Recall incorporated in the loan agreement, the Impact retains the right to recall the player at any point during the MLS regular season, subject to MLS roster compliance guidelines.
