With the 14th pick in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft, the Montreal Impact select defender Kyle Fisher out of Clemson University.
The South Carolina native, Kyle Fisher, joins the Montreal Impact as he was selected 14th overall in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft. The 6'0 central defender brings a lot of college experience coming out of the 1st round. Part of the Clemson squad that went all the way to the National Championship game, Fisher was one of the top players during that run.
As we learned again via the draft broadcast, Fisher missed a few games due to compartment syndrome, a condition resulting from increased pressure within a confined body space, especially of the leg or forearm (** wikipedia).
