The Impact’s next match will come against eastern conference foe Orlando F.C. After a disappointing loss to Houston at the weekend the Montreal Impact are now in fourth place, while Orlando F.C. are in fifth.
A win at Orlando would essentially nullify the loss the Impact took at the weekend. It would be especially encouraging when considering the Impact’s historically putrid away record. Two wins in three matches should be considered outstanding for this squad.
During the match against Houston, the Impact’s lack of attacking depth was glaring. Backup striker and impact academy product Anthony Jackson-Hamel would come on and have no impact.
