According to UK tabloid the Daily Star, Tottenham Hotspur have put feelers out for Red Bull Salzburg boss Jesse Marsch.
If that’s true they run the risk of losing out on a second, or even third, prime target. Spurs’ preference was RB Leipzig head coach Julian Nagelsman, but it’s been confirmed that Nagelsman will be the manager of Bayern Munich next season, replacing the highly successful Hansi Flick.
Flick is off to succeed Joachim Low as boss of Die Mannschaft.
Tottenham’s second choice ahead of Marsch, appears to be Brendan Rodgers, but why would the Northern Irishman leave Leicester City, likely Champions League participants next season, to replace Mourinho, his former Chelsea boss?
