After a winning yet another away game during the 2016 MLS playoffs, the Montreal Impact qualify for the first time, in its short MLS history, to the Eastern Conference final.
As Toronto FC destroyed New York City FC in the other eastern conference semi-final, the Eastern Conference final will be a Canadian affair.
The first leg will be played on November 22nd in Montreal. The Impact confirmed that the Olympic Stadium will be the venue for the historical game against bitter rivals Toronto FC.
This is not the first time that Montreal plays important games at the Big O as the club played all of its 2015 CONCACAF Champions League games (as of the quarterfinals) at the Olympic venue.
