Montreal Impact fell to 9th place in the Eastern Conference after on-form Nashville SC blew FC Dallas away, winning 3-0 at Nissan Stadium.
Dallas had threatened to get back into the game after producing a toothless first-half after which they trailed by one, but Nashville substitute, Jhonder Cadiz had other ideas. Eleven minutes after replacing Abu Dunladi his deflected shot wrong-footed Jimmy Maurer, between the posts for Dallas.
Daniel Rios, an even later sub put the icing on the cake with Nashville’s third on 88 mins twisting Reto Zeigler inside out in the box, before finishing with aplomb.
