Erik Hurtado, one of the influx of new playing personnel at CF Montreal, can’t wait to get going.
Speaking of his excitement at the prospect of a new season, he says he’s keen to get together with the rest of his new team-mates down in Florida.
“We’re all excited to get together as a complete team. being separated is hard. We need to see how each other plays and how we can be comfortable with each other. With the separation it’s difficult to get to know one another, eleven v eleven.”
As intensity rises in daily training Hurtado likes it that new coach Wilfried Nancy has been vocal and clear and says he’s been impressed with several players in the squad, notably Amar Sejdic and Clement Diop, of whom he mentioned, “He likes to come out hard and aggressive.
