The Montreal Impact trade defender Eric Miller to the Colorado Rapids for Colorado's 2018 first round MLS SuperDraft pick and allocation money.
A 23-year old right back is a hot commodity especially for a regular USMNT member with the U23 that was recently in Jurgen Klinsmann's January camp. Eric Miller pays for the Impact's depth at the fullback position, behind Hassoun Camara, Ambroise Oyongo and Donny Toia. After giving allocation money to acquire Harry Shipp, Montreal gets some back and a first round pick in 2018.
An athletic and offensive-minded right back, Miller was probably one of the most mature MLS draftees that the Impact has had.
