The Impact returned to Stade Saputo on Saturday to face off against Sporting Kansas City. The Impact were looking for all three points in order to leap frog up to 2nd place in the eastern conference standings. However, the Impact were only able to secure 1 point in a 2-2 draw. Lucas Ontivero and Ignacio Piatti both scored for the Impact while Dominic Dwyer scored twice for Kansas City.
Like the score line, the statistics were pretty equal. Possession was split 50.8 to 49.2 in favor of Kansas City and both teams attempted 14 shots. Here are my thumbs up and thumbs down for the Impact's performance versus SKC.
