Lens won their first home match back in Ligue Un against a PSG side lacking several players including Kylian Mbappe (injured).
Former Impact defender Zakaria Diallo of course helped Lens to promotion last season, but did not feature in the match squad today.
Lens won 1-0 in front of the permitted 5,000 fans at Stade Bollaert-Belilis.
The match was in doubt after CL finalists PSG had seven players, including Mbappe test positive for coronavirus. However the game went ahead.
And Lens took full advantage on their return to the top flight as Ignatius Ganago punished goalkeeper Marcin Bulka’s error to net the winning goal.
