Cameroon win the African Cup of Nations for the 1st time in 15 years

Montreal Impact left back, Ambroise Oyongo and his national team took home the African Cup of Nations after beating Egypt 2-1 in the finals.

Although Egypt were the favorites to win the African Cup of Nations, underdogs Cameroon defeated all odds and sneaked home a victory. Record holding seven-time champs Egypt, went into the final with zero goals against, but that all changed when defender Nkoulou powered in his header to equalize the match.

In the 89th minute, Aboubakar scored a beautiful goal past 44-year-old 'keeper, Essam el-Hadary, that would be the deciding goal to give Cameroon their 1st title since Eto’o squad in 2002.
