Breaking news as reported by various news outlets in the last hour, Liverpool’s Egyptian forward Mo Salah has tested positive for Coronavirus.
Salah, 28, returned a positive test, although is not displaying any symptoms.
All other members of the Egyptian team tested negative.
The Egyptians host Togo in African Cup of Nations play on Saturday, followed by the reverse fixture in Togo on Tuesday.
Both countries are in the same Africa Cup of Nations Group as Victor Wanyama’s Kenya.
Salah was a member of the AS Roma team which defeated the Montreal Impact 2-0 in a friendly at Stade Saputo in August 2016.
