Wonderful what a goal can do for you....
There’s no doubt Zach Brault-Guillard looks stronger and more powerful than ever this new season. He’s already doubled his career assist tally with two in the opening game and last Saturday notched his first-ever MLS goal.
His overall play in week 1 certainly merited his Team of the Week inclusion. Not only was he dangerous offensively, he managed to find the right balance between attacking and defensive duties.
I’m far from convinced his contribution this most recent weekend at Nashville merited the same accolade however, despite his goal and the obvious joy and surprise it brought to the whole squad as half-time approached.
