Marc Bergevin and the Montreal Canadiens announced this morning that Zack Kassian was traded to the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for Ben Scrivens.

Scrivens, 29, has a .893 save percentage in the AHL this season, with the Bakersfield Condors. Last season with the Oilers he produced a .890 save percentage in 57 games.
Scrivens carries a $2.3M cap hit this season, and his contract expires at the end of the year.
