He’s undoubtedly the greatest modern goalie, but how does Carey Price stack up to those from other eras?
It’s the dog days of summer, and for the last few days, I’ve watched hockey Twitter eat itself alive arguing about the legacy of Martin Brodeur among the best goalies in the NHL. Admittedly he doesn’t make my top three given my personal opinion being that Dominik Hasek is the greatest goalie of all time, total wins be damned (it’s team stat). Trailing Hasek is Patrick Roy and then Ken Dryden in my eyes, which is what spawned this idea.
