The Montreal Canadiens have announced the signing of Tyler Toffoli to a four-year contract.
After being quiet in the days to open free agency following the acquisition of signing of Josh Anderson, Marc Bergevin has made his splash on Thanksgiving Monday, adding one of the top offensive players remaining on the board.
Toffoli played seven-and-a-half seasons with the Los Angeles Kings to begin his NHL career before a trade to the Vancouver Canucks last year. The right-winger had a total of 44 points in 68 regular-season games in 2019-20, with another four points in seven post-season games for the Canucks.
