Les Canadiennes de Montreal were without two of their best players in Marie-Philip Poulin and Lauriane Rougeau last night, but you wouldn't know it, as they handily beat the Toronto Furies 5-1 on the road.
Poulin and Rougeau are in Sweden with Team Canada right now for the 4 Nations Cup.
The absence of two of Montreal's elite talents forced head coach Dany Brunet to shuffle the lines, allowing Kim Deschenes to play on Montreal's second line with rookies Leslie Oles and Katia Clement-Heydra.
