Three Canadiennes named to Canada’s Olympic roster

Canada’s women’s national team has named its Olympic roster for the upcoming Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea and as expected three members of Les Canadiennes have been named to the roster.

Marie-Philip Poulin, Lauriane Rougeau, and Melodie Daoust have made the roster like they did in 2014 when Canada won gold.

Poulin has been the captain of the national team for the last few years and is as much a lock as anybody on the roster. She is one of the best women’s hockey players in the world, and needs no introduction.

Poulin has eight goals and four assists in 10 games at the 2010 and 2014 Olympics.
