A few months after taking their initial stand to sit out of North American professional hockey after the CWHL folded, the Professional Women’s Hockey Player’s Association have announced dates for their first three tournaments, called the Dream Gap Tour.
The first tournament will be held September 20-22 in Toronto. Other events have been announced are in Hudson, New Hampshire from October 4-6 and Chicago, Illinois from October 18-20.
Other events will be held throughout the year, including in Montreal however dates for other events have not been confirmed at this town.
The tour will include a lot of the top names in women’s hockey including former Canadiennes like Hilary Knight and Marie-Philip Poulin.
