The Canadiens have announced that they've come to an agreement with the Jarred Tinordi. It's a two-way deal.
Tinordi, 23, is eligible for waivers, which means that the Habs will have to figure their defensive roster situation, seeing as they currently have eight or nine players that are capable of playing in the NHL next season.
He split his time last season between the Hamilton Bulldogs and the Canadiens, however during his 13 games with the Habs he managed to maintain a very respectable 50.18 Corsi for percentage.
That leaves restricted free agent Alex Galchenyuk as the biggest question mark going forward, however considering his contract will be more complicated than all the other RFAs, don't be surprised if it's several weeks before negotiations come to a conclusion.
