The Brampton Beast announced earlier on Thursday that the team has signed goalie Kevin Kapalka and forward Thomas Stajan to standard Player Contracts.
Stajan isn't unfamiliar with the Powerade Centre, having already played with the team for one game earlier this season. In addition, he spent time with the club in their Central Hockey League days, where he donned the Beast jersey for 13 games, while recording four assists.
Kapalka spent his four-year collegiate career playing with Lake Superior State University of the NCAA. He racked-up 111 games. In his freshman year (2010-2011), the goalie earned NCAA (CCHA) All-Rookie Team Honours as the best rookie goalie in his conference.
