Montreal defenseman P.K. Subban will not face supplemental discipline after his slash of Ottawa’s Mark Stone in Wednesday’s Game 1 4-3 Canadiens win.
Subban was ejected from the game and assessed a five-minute major. According to a Twitter report from ESPN’s Pierre LeBrun, that was enough for NHL Department of Player Safety head Stephane Quintal.

And Stone seemed to go in and out of the lineup quite a few times after the play as he tried to determine if he could actually return.
