St. John's IceCaps Weekly Report: Michael McCarron off to a stellar start

McCarron has silenced those doubters with an incredible start to his rookie season, outscoring players such as Charles Hudon and Sven Andrighetto. In a three game swing, the gargantuan forward made his presence felt once again, collecting a goal and three assists to match Daniel Carr's output for the week.

Coming into his rookie season there were some concerns about how well Michael McCarron would adjust to the pro game. Some worried he would focus too much on the extra curricular nonsense such as fighting, and how that could stunt his development.

He opened the scoring against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on the powerplay with assists from Bud Holloway and Mark Barberio, he would also assist on Christian Thomas's fifth goal of the year later in the game.
