An outstanding rookie campaign continues for the 6'6'' forward, as he posted four goals over a two-game span against Albany this week. He kicked off his dominant series with the game-winning goal in a 3-2 victory over the Albany Devils, and followed that up with his second career hat trick the following night in a 5-1 win.
For his extraordinary performance this year, McCarron was called up to Montreal for their road trip and made his debut in a 6-2 loss to the Dallas Stars. Despite it being his first professional game, he had a good net-front presence and caused havoc for the Stars defense.
