The Montreal Canadiens have seen several changes in their management group already. They have a new assistant head coach in Dominique Ducharme, new AHL head coach in Jöel Bouchard, and cleared out some of the over ripened names in the organization. With those decisions as well as the contract signings, the offseason has been a success so far.
Next up will be alterations to the roster, bring on the trades. In many ways, you could rationalize Marc Bergevin not doing anything. The team was gutted from all the injuries and under-performances from top players.
