After Wednesday morning’s practice, the Montreal Canadiens announced that young forward Nikita Scherbak was out with a concussion. In response to his absence, Claude Julien had a new look to the team’s lines. Byron Froese got back in on right wing next to Michael McCarron and Daniel Carr while Charles Hudon, who looks to be recovered, replaced Scherbak on the third line.
Nicolas Deslauriers got a promotion to the first line reuniting with Jonathan Drouin who he spent some time with earlier in the season.
