Montreal Canadiens prospect Ryan Poehling’s season is over as the team announced he will require surgery for a wrist injury.

The recovery timeline will be announced after the surgery is completed.

Poehling has had a great season for the American Hockey League’s Laval Rocket, leading the team in scoring in his second professional season.
