After leaving Saturday’s Laval Rocket game against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers Ryan Poehling will undergo further testing and evaluation, the Rocket confirmed to Habs Eyes on the Prize.
Poehling left the game after a whistle with 10:29 to go in the third period after Cayden Primeau stopped play by freezing the puck. Looking back at his shifts in the third period there were no obvious things that could have caused the injury. A few minutes earlier, Poehling took a shift killing a penalty.
Saturday’s game was Poehling’s fourth game in five days. He played Tuesday with the Canadiens, and Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday after being sent down to the Rocket.
