MONTREAL – The Canadiens and Nordiques will square off on Wednesday night. And no Quebec City fans, this isn’t a mean-spirited play on words just because Michel Therrien’s troops are in Colorado to play the Avalanche…
The two teams will actually do battle at the legendary Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament.
Every year, a team from the Montreal area represents the Canadiens in the AAA category. The squad heading to Quebec City is selected at random from a group a pre-selected teams. The Lac St-Louis – North Lions were given the honour this time around, taking part in the 57th edition of the annual tournament that will take place from February 10-21.
