Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban was forced from Thursday night's game against the Buffalo Sabres after colliding with teammate Alexei Emelin.

According to Sportsnet's David Amber, Subban was lying on the ice "for a few minutes after taking a hit to the head" from Emelin.
The team announced Subban was taken to the hospital for further testing on his neck but had "normal movement" in his extremities.
NHL Network's Kevin Weekes relayed an encouraging update following the Canadiens' 3-2 win:
