BROSSARD – Montreal native Mark Barberio has fit in seamlessly with the Canadiens since being called up to the NHL on December 27.
In the last week alone, the Habs’ 25-year-old defenseman was called up for the first time, played his first NHL game in a Canadiens uniform and picked up an assist at the Winter Classic in Foxboro. Should he get the chance, playing in front of friends and family at the Bell Centre for the first time would simply be the cherry on top.
