Montreal Canadiens forward Nikita Scherbak underwent knee surgery today and will be out six weeks.
N. Scherbak underwent a surgery to his right knee today in Mtl (injury suffered on Oct. 26). His recovery period is expected to be 6 weeks.

The injury happened on October 26 against the Kings. He briefly came back, but then left the game again.
He played in two NHL games this season and looked good before getting hurt. He had a great start to the year in the AHL with the Laval Rocket, with one goal and eight assists in six games.
